Create a circular flow diagram in PowerPoint 2010
In PowerPoint 2010 you can create nice circular diagrams including flow diagrams or circular arrow diagrams using shapes and SmartArt.
SmartArt is a great feature that let you create nice diagrams in PowerPoint just with a few clicks. Then you can use the shape format options to change the styles and diagram properties.
Here we will show you how to create a nice looking circular flow diagram in PowerPoint.
First we need to open a new slide in our PowerPoint template so we can insert a new SmartArt object.
For example you can choose the Block Cycle, that is inteded to be used in this way:
Use to represent a continuing sequence of stages, tasks, or events in a circular flow. Emphasizes the stages or steps rather than the connecting arrows or flow.
Then you can enter the items for each of the elements and steps.
This is a basic cycle diagram with arrows, but you can apply some nice styles to create a 3D version, for example let see at the following 3D variant of this same diagram.
Finally we got a 3D variant for the same diagram. You can change the style using the Format menu and applying Shape Styles in the same way we did for other shapes in the past.
There are some business situations where you need to display nice 3D arrow diagrams with PowerPoint for example in business performance PowerPoint presentations but also in business analysis or marketing presentations so the arrow diagrams with 3D effects can be widely used and adopted to make nice flow diagrams in PowerPoint. You are welcome to test to insert your own diagram and apply some nice effects. You can also play with the individual shapes (each diagram step or event) to edit the color or shape properties.
