Learn how to use Review tab in PowerPoint
Review functionality in PowerPoint 2007+ is very useful for collaboration purposes. In PowerPoint and Microsoft Office products you can find a Review tab. UtahState University explained in this interesting article how to use review tab in PowerPoint.
There are several tools that you can use under this tab.
- Spelling
- Research
- Thesaurus
- Translate
- Language
Also, you can embed sticky notes and comments on your PowerPoint slides. This is a good way to communicate about a feature or a change request while working with other colleagues in a PowerPoint presentation.
The Research button helps you to do an online research in books and Internet resources about a topic of your interest.
Thesaurus lists words grouped together according to similarity of meaning (containing synonyms and sometimes antonyms). By using Thesaurus in PowerPoint under Review tab you can easily find synonyms for example when you design the PowerPoint slide content to find relative words for your content.
Another interesting functionality under this tab is the Document Protect button available in PowerPoint. This button makes it possible to protect the entire document and restrict access based on credentials. This is really useful if you share sensitive information inside a PowerPoint presentation.
