How to save a PowerPoint PPT file as a PDF file
Recently we explained how to use Hello Slide to add voice to our presentations, but the platform currently requires that you upload a PDF file instead of a PPT file. There are many other situations where we need to share a PDF file instead of our original PowerPoint presentation file. This article will explain you how to save a PPT PowerPoint presentation into a Adobe PDF format (Portable Document Format).
In order to save a PPT as a PDF file or convert a PPT to PDF, open PowerPoint and then.
- Click File menu, and then Save As, and then click PDF or XPS.
- In the File name list, type or select a name for the presentation.
- In the Save as type list, click PDF and enter the output file name in the dialog.
If the presentation requires high print quality, click Standard (publishing online and printing) but iff the print quality is less important than file size, click Minimum size (publishing online) which is helpful to share the presentation onlines for example by email (Hotmail, Gmail or any other email provider).
When you click Save, you will see a progress bar with the publishing progress. Check this sample in What is Cloud Computing PPT.
