How to start a PowerPoint slideshow automatically
Using PowerPoint you can configure your slideshow to start automatically when someone open the PowerPoint file. In fact, the .pps is the file extension created for this purpose. .PPS stands for PowerPoint Slideshow.

Convert PPS to PPT and viceversa
Here is a small tip. If you have a .ppt presentation file but want to convert PPT to PPS, then you can simple rename the file and change the file extension. The format is the same and just the mode it plays is changed when you rename the file.

Alternatively, if you need to share PPT online but the user will open it in a different device, for example a tablet or smartphone, then the mode it will open will be relied to the way the software uses to open the file.
