Export PowerPoint .ppt files to text

Now we will learn how to export the presentation content to text files. This can be a good alternative if you need the PowerPoint presentation content converted to text without formatting.

There are many different ways to achieve this, for example using VBA and automated tasks, but the easier method is just to export the .PPT file to .txt output.

First, we need to export the PowerPoint to RTF format and then we will open the file in Word or Windows Writer. Once we do this, we can then Save As .txt and obtain a text version of the presentation.
