Record Macro in PowerPoint 2010

Macro recording is a great way to record steps in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs. Unfortunately PowerPoint 2010 has no Macro Recorder (for any reason the team behind PowerPoint decided to remove this feature from PowerPoint 2010 and 2013) and writing VBA code is the only way to create macros.

If you have access to a previous version of PowerPoint such as PowerPoint 2003 or PowerPoint 2007, then you can open the presentation here and record macro using the Macro Record tool. Then, save the changes and open it in PowerPoint 2010 and you will be able to edit the macros that were recorded or written in earlier versions of PowerPoint. To edit the macros you can go to the the Visual Basic Editor in PowerPoint 2010.
