PowerPoint viewer in Dropbox

We already wrote about Dropbox, an online cloud storage service that gives you 2Gb for free to share files online or use it as a personal storage in the cloud. You can use this service as a free alternative to SkyDrive or even other cloud storage solutions.

Now we will see that with a Dropbox account and the application in your smartphone you can preview PPT files. You can view files in your mobile smartphone or table.

In order to accomplish this, follow the steps below:

Select the Dropbox tab at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the file you’d like to open in another app.
Press the icon depicting an arrow exiting a box at the top far right.

The Open in… button is highlighted in green A list of apps that are capable of opening the file will appear in the resulting menu. Select the app you’d like to open the file.

This is a great way to preview documents and PowerPoint presentations using Dropbox.
